I graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in biochemistry, cellular, and molecular biology. During the departmental awards at the end of the year, I received four awards! I am currently applying to medical schools and I can't thank you all enough for supporting my education to help shape me to be a scholar, scientist, and future health professional! Organizations like this are what motivate me to give back to my community.

The medical interpreting course is amazing and extremely needed. It's obvious that language barriers can really interfere with providing patient care and education. The need for interpreters that also are aware of medical terminology is pertinent. Not only did I learn the skill set necessary to interpret but the information I needed to work in a healthcare setting and understand anatomy, procedures, and other terminology.
