Our Programs

The program focuses on creating a diverse workforce to serve diverse and disadvantaged populations by introducing high school students to careers in health.

The program prepares students interested in careers in all areas of health care as well as preparing them for their first professional job search or the application process for professional schools.

Health professions’ students from various disciplines come together to host a free walk-in clinic for patrons of each site and other members of the community who may experience difficulty accessing healthcare.

Students get the opportunity to learn about social determinants of health, cultural competency, vulnerable populations, health disparities, the HOT guide, and public health careers.
